Free printable baby food tracker
A simple baby food log for what was offered, what was eaten, and the details you want to remember. Keep first foods, familiar meals, and allergen notes together.
Free to print. No email, account, or app required.
How to use your baby food log
- Print a fresh sheet. Choose your printer, or Save as PDF if your browser offers it. The print layout includes just the worksheet.
- Record completed meals. Add the date, food and preparation, what your baby ate, and any observations you want to keep.
- Keep plans separate. Use the smaller planning table for ideas that have not happened yet. Add them to the food log after the meal.
For example: “Tuesday, breakfast — pear and oatmeal — a few spoonfuls — thicker texture than yesterday.” If a dish contains several ingredients, name them in your notes so you can find the details later.
Use this as a first-foods record or for meals already in your routine. There is no target number of foods to complete. Follow your baby’s healthcare provider’s advice about what to offer and when.

Keeping allergen notes useful
Write the specific food and how it was prepared, including the type of nut or fish when relevant. A dated entry is more useful than a checkmark alone: it lets you look back at the meal and your observations.
For more detail, read how to track baby allergens. Our allergen introduction guide explains common foods and links to pediatric guidance. This printable does not set a feeding schedule or assess reactions.
About the printable
Is this baby food tracker free?
Yes. The printable worksheet is free, with no sign-up. The Baby Bites app is a separate subscription, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
Can I use it as a first-foods checklist?
Yes. Write each food as you offer it and add the date and preparation. Keep using the log for repeat meals too; it is a record of your routine, without a target number of foods to finish.
Can I save a PDF?
Choose Print the food log, then select Save as PDF if that option is available in your browser or device’s print menu. The worksheet fits on one A4 or US Letter page in portrait orientation at the default scale.
Does this page store my baby’s information?
No. This is a blank worksheet to print and fill in on paper. There is no form for entering your child’s information on this page.
